MSc Nursing, or Master of Science in Nursing, is a two-year postgraduate program that builds on a bachelor's degree in nursing. It provides advanced knowledge and skills in patient care, nursing research, and healthcare management, and offers specializations like obstetrics & gynecology nursing, psychiatric nursing, pediatric nursing, community health nursing, medical-surgical nursing etc.. Upon completion, graduates can pursue careers as clinical nurse specialists, educators, managers, or researchers.

Academic Eligibility

To be eligible for an M.Sc. Nursing program in Kerala, candidates must have a B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council, and have at least one year of post-registration work experience. Candidates from universities outside Kerala must provide an eligibility and equivalence certificate from the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).
